I feel momentarily lousy for letting my guard slip today, but I forgive myself for being careless, taking this as yet another valuable lesson in precautions over my belongings.
It is my intention that my identity card will be returned to me, and that my wallet containing it will also be returned to me intact soon, together with all its contents, by an honest person, into whose possession my temporarily missing wallet will enter.
The probability of that happening is not very high, but hey, it's by no means zero! :D
